Good News Bible has a paragraph break here, which is not necessary.

Now therefore take care to make a copy of this, and let it be given to Jonathan and put up in a conspicuous place on the holy mountain: Compare 1Macc 8.22. These words are also addressed to Lasthenes. He was to make sure that a copy of the letter was posted by Jonathan in Jerusalem in a conspicuous place, meaning in a place where everyone could see it. The holy mountain is, of course, the hill where the Temple stood. Translators may follow Good News Bible for this verse. Another possible model is:

• I require you to make a copy of this letter and send it to Jonathan, so that he may post it somewhere on the Temple hill where everyone can see it.’ ”
