Verses 29-31 form one long sentence in the Latin text (so also Revised Standard Version). In many languages it will be helpful to break it into several sentences (so Good News Bible, Contemporary English Version).

As in an olive orchard three or four olives may be left on every tree: An alternative model for this verse is:

• It will be like an olive orchard after harvest, when three or four olives may be left on each tree.
