If integrated into the book of Daniel: 14.25.

I will worship the Lord my God: The Greek verb rendered worship is in the future tense, although this does not mean that Good News Translation‘s present tense is wrong. For Lord see the comments on Bar 1.5.

A possible restructuring for this verse is:

• “No,” Daniel replied. “The Lord is the only living God, and the only God I will worship.”

The word “only” represents nothing in the text, but it is clearly the intended sense.
