All people is the subject of both verbs in this verse and therefore means “people of Jerusalem” (Contemporary English Version).

For majesty see verse 6. Good News Translation supplies “greatness” from the previous line in Greek. See the note on verse 7.

Acknowledge him in Jerusalem: For acknowledge see the note at verses 3, 6; 12.6. Acknowledge him is parallel with speak of his majesty in the first line of the verse. If translators wish to keep the two balanced lines, an alternative model is the following:

• Let all the people of Jerusalem speak about his greatness,
and praise him with singing.
