Jerusalem

The name that is transliterated as “Jerusalem” in English is signed in French Sign Language with a sign that depicts worshiping at the Western Wall in Jerusalem:

While a similar sign is also used in British Sign Language, another, more neutral sign that combines the sign “J” and the signs for “place” is used as well. (Source: Anna Smith)

Translation commentary on 2 Chronicles 9:30

Verses 30-31 constitute a summary statement of the reign of Solomon.

Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years: The words over all Israel emphasize the fact that Solomon, unlike the rulers that followed him, was ruler of the entire kingdom. After his reign the kingdom was divided and there were separate rulers over Judah and Israel.
